2020 was a historical year, it was also the year where many hopeful students had to put their dream of studying abroad on hold, after having prepared so much for the journey.
Knowing this, I volunteered to create and contribute this written piece to a group of students and alumni that had been writing blog posts and building a community of international students from Vietnam.
The goal is to bring the student life in Wellington and New Zealand closer to Vietnamese students through story telling and visual. The pandemic deferred this vision, so I wanted to grab at our readers' extinguishing hope and re-direct it to a more optimistic focus. Thus, my contribution to "The Survival Guide" was made. In it, I reminisced about my experience when I first arrived in Wellington in 2017 and wished I had knew a few vital things that would have made my transition easier.
As a Marketing Coordinator with a strong passion for Digital Marketing and content production, I am always looking for the next opportunity and challenge to work on and learn from. This is so that I can continue adding value to meaningful and innovative communications projects and improve my skills set along the journey.
